Works great even though it is a very simple and plastic Chinese model. Likes that the display has lighting. Does not have the option to turn off the remote control but it should not draw much battery when not in use so it is probably not a problem.

I’m familiar with this product (I have a different connection type). It works well and without any issues. The instruction manual is a bit misleading in places. One drawback (hence only 4 stars; though I was aware of this): the cable trigger doesn’t have an on/off switch. To prevent the batteries from running completely flat, it’s best to remove them after each use of the device. The cable trigger is available from various suppliers; however, it’s always the same device (probably from the same manufacturer).
