The batteries are used commercially in the assembly of street lights, mainly on the mast fuse box and the mast door, where smaller 12V machines are used due to cramped conditions and their lighter construction. In the natural lack of sockets on the street, we are dependent on cordless devices - and thus also battery packs - of various types and voltage classes (screwdrivers, impact wrenches, reciprocating saws, angle grinders) in 12V and 18V, which can withstand rough operation under various weather conditions with very short charging / Discharge cycles have grown and do not let the user down prematurely! The truck is charged using a 230V AC voltage converter. The batteries have proven to be a robust, real alternative to high-priced original replacement batteries (which are probably only bought in by the device manufacturers). How long the individual battery packs last, I can't say yet, as no one has left us;) The replacement batteries for the Metabo (12V, 3.0Ah, NiMh) last for up to a week with one charge with about ten hours of connection work per day ! Depending on how many new tapped holes have to be drilled, but at least three and a half days! Even now in the frost! Record! In my opinion, the battery packs are definitely worth every penny, as they have also withstood mechanical influences such as falls or impacts. Even when overloaded, no damage has been noticed so far. Solid parts, also for commercial users!
