After 13 years, I had to replace the original battery in my Dyson DC45. The battery fits perfectly in the DC45 and, what is also important, in the wall mount for charging. In terms of design, the battery is almost indistinguishable from the original. Only the type plate reveals the difference. The additional 500 mAh now allows the vacuum cleaner to vacuum for a little longer. I can't say anything about the durability yet, as I've only been using the battery for a short time.
