It’s surprising that when I screw the grip onto the GH4, the contacts don’t make proper contact. If I screw the grip on as far as it will go, the green contact indicator light flashes; I have to unscrew it a little so that the contacts make proper contact. I had to make a cardboard ‘shim’ to fit between the body and the grip to ensure the contacts made a proper connection.
